Gambling should always be a form of entertainment — never a way to chase losses or solve financial pressures. PakVIP is committed to providing every Pakistani user with the tools, information and support they need to stay in control.
Adults Only — 18+ or the higher minimum required by the operator/license jurisdiction. PakVIP does not represent that the minimum age of 18 makes gambling lawful in Pakistan. Local laws, including the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977, may restrict or prohibit participation. You are responsible for complying with applicable local law.
PakVIP provides six core tools to help you keep gambling fun, voluntary and within your personal boundaries. All tools are available directly from your Account settings.
Set a daily, weekly or monthly cap on how much you can deposit. Once the limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets. Reductions take effect immediately; increases require a cooling-off period before activation.
Define the maximum net loss you are comfortable with over a given period. When that threshold is hit, betting and casino play is suspended for the remainder of the period — no overrides, no exceptions.
Decide how long each gambling session should last. When your chosen time expires, the Platform will notify you and, where configured, log you out automatically. Regular breaks help maintain a clear perspective on spending.
Take a short break from gambling — ranging from 24 hours to 30 days — without committing to full self-exclusion. During a cooling-off period, your account remains open but betting and deposits are suspended.
Exclude yourself from PakVIP for 30 days, 6 months, 1 year or permanently. Self-exclusion cannot be reversed during the active period. If you choose permanent exclusion, the decision is final. This is our strongest player-protection tool.
Enable periodic on-screen reminders that display how long you have been gambling in the current session and how much you have wagered. Reality checks are a simple but effective way to maintain awareness without interrupting play unnecessarily.
At PakVIP, responsible gambling is not a legal box to tick. It is a genuine commitment that shapes every feature decision, every piece of content and every interaction we have with our community of Pakistani users.
Gambling is a popular form of entertainment across Pakistan — from following the PSL closely in Karachi and Lahore to tracking international cricket odds from Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Faisalabad. For the vast majority of users, it remains exactly that: entertainment. A small minority will find that it becomes more difficult to control. PakVIP is built to support both groups equally.
We do not use countdown timers, aggressive loss-chasing notifications or pressure-selling tactics designed to make you deposit more than you intended. We do not target users who show signs of problem gambling with promotional bonuses. Our responsible gambling tools are placed prominently in your Account settings — not buried in menus — because we want you to find them before you need them.
We also recognise the legal context. Online gambling is subject to the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977 in Pakistan. PakVIP does not hold a Pakistan gambling license and does not claim regulatory approval by any Pakistani authority. Nothing on this page or elsewhere on the Platform constitutes legal advice. You must assess the legality of your participation based on your own jurisdiction.
"Gambling should be fun, voluntary and within your means. PakVIP is here to help make sure it stays that way."
— The PakVIP Responsible Gambling Team
Problem gambling can develop gradually. Recognising early warning signs — in yourself or someone close to you — is the first step toward getting it under control. The signs below are not a clinical diagnosis; they are indicators that it may be time to step back and seek support.
If you recognise three or more of these patterns in your own behaviour, we encourage you to use PakVIP's self-exclusion or deposit-limit tools immediately and to reach out to an independent support organisation. A list of support resources is available further down this page.
PakVIP's limit controls are designed to be intuitive, immediate and effective. Here is how each limit type works in practice, including the policies around changing limits.
Sets the maximum you can deposit within any rolling 24-hour window. For example, setting a limit of PKR 2,000 per day means no further deposits are accepted that day once PKR 2,000 has been credited, regardless of payment method used.
Works the same as the daily limit but resets on a rolling 7-day basis. Useful for users whose gambling peaks during PSL match weeks or ICC tournament windows.
The highest-level deposit control, covering a full 30-day rolling period. Particularly effective for managing total monthly gambling expenditure as part of a personal budget.
Limits the maximum net loss within a chosen period. Once reached, all betting and gaming activity is suspended until the period resets. This limit cannot be overridden mid-period.
Caps the duration of each individual gambling session. When the limit is reached, you will receive a notification and the session will end. You can always review session history from your Account dashboard.
Self-exclusion is the most powerful tool available on PakVIP. When you self-exclude, your Account is suspended for the duration you select. You cannot log in, deposit, place bets or access casino games for the entire exclusion period. No promotional emails will be sent during exclusion.
Self-exclusion is not a sign of failure. It is a courageous, responsible decision and PakVIP fully supports every user who uses it. If you feel that gambling has stopped being fun and started becoming a problem, self-exclusion is the right first step — alongside reaching out for independent support.
To activate self-exclusion, go to Account Settings → Responsible Gambling → Self-Exclusion and select your preferred duration. The exclusion takes effect immediately upon confirmation.
Choose from the following exclusion durations. All periods are calculated from the moment of activation:
Reversibility: Exclusions of 30 days, 3 months, 6 months and 1 year cannot be reversed during the active period. After the period expires, you may request reactivation — but PakVIP will enforce a mandatory 7-day reflection period before any reactivation is processed, and you will be required to re-confirm your identity.
Permanent Exclusion: If you select permanent exclusion, your Account will be closed and your personal data will be retained only as required by applicable regulatory obligations. Permanent exclusion cannot be reversed under any circumstances. This decision is final.
Attempted Circumvention: Attempting to re-register under a different name, email address or identity document during an active self-exclusion period is a serious breach of PakVIP's Terms & Conditions and may be referred to relevant law enforcement authorities.
The following questions are adapted from widely used responsible gambling self-assessment frameworks. If you answer "Yes" to several of these questions, it may be worth talking to a support professional and using PakVIP's limit or exclusion tools.
